Frank Lloyd Wright’s prolific career spanned 75 years. The most productive chapter of his career came in the post war years between 1945 and his death in 1959. His Usonian houses, designed and built in those years, were the culmination of his life long effort to make quality modern design available to the middle class. The name Usonian is of Wright’s origin, meaning of the United States of North America.
