Billings Farm and Museum: A working farm dating from the 1890s that has been transformed into a museum of farm life with interactive exhibits. In Woodstock, VT. 802-457-2355.

Dartmouth Skiway: 900-ft. vertical drop with 30 trails for alpine skiing and snowboarding. Lessons and rentals. In Lyme, NH. 603-795-2143.
