The aesthetic ideals common to traditional Japanese design and Western Modernism are on display in the Kyoto dining collection. Its
broad surfaces and simple geometry give way to the naturally complex beauty of Kyoto’s solid Walnut grain. Following the principle that
we define our surroundings and our surroundings define us, qualities such as Simplicity, Asymmetry, Understatement and Naturalness
come together in Kyoto to produce a design that subtly brings the mind to a state of tranquility or active-calm.
All pieces are crafted in solid American black walnut hardwood and are finished with a low sheen (10 sheen) top coat.
